Tom Brown is an, artist, illustrator, writer , Gothic Mangaka and the founder of Copper Age. He lives in the USA, drinks copious amounts of coffee, and spends too much time thinking about demons. Although he’s heavily influenced by Manga, Tom’s artwork also owes a great deal to Western artistic traditions. Much of his work focuses on exploring dichotomies between archetypal imagery and contemporary inventiveness. Dark and pensive backdrops are peppered with many eldritch and imaginative creatures of his own invention, and strongly permeated with a healthy dose of lively humanity. Rumor has it that he was exposed to HP Lovecraft , T.S. Eliot and E.A. Poe at a delicate age. For the past few years, Tom has been collaborating with English author Brynneth N Colvin on the “HOPELESS, MAINE” graphic novel, stories. There are plans for future collaborations with Witchunter’s Vincent Ferrante as well Tom’s career to date includes cover art, illustration, graphic novel work, Tattoo design, and other commissioned enterprises
